1. Short-circuit alarm indication:
The short-circuit sensor detects the short-circuit current of the line during operation. When the short-circuit fault occurs, the short-circuit current reaches or exceeds the set value. The short-circuit sensor sends out an alarm signal, which is transmitted to the indicator via optical fiber. After the indicator receives this signal, it generates the corresponding alarm indicating signal.
2. Grounding alarm indication:
The grounding sensor detects the short-circuit current of the line during operation. When the ground fault occurs, the grounding current reaches or exceeds the set value. The grounding sensor sends out an alarm signal, which is transmitted to the indicator via optical fiber. After the indicator receives this signal, it generates the corresponding alarm indicating signal.
3. Low voltage alarm indication:
The indicator is powered by battery. When the battery voltage is less than the minimum working voltage of 2.7V, the low voltage alarm indicator will flash.
4. Manual reset:
After alarm, it can be cancelled by pressing the "reset/test" button on the indicator for 1 second.
5. Automatic reset:
If there is no manual reset after alarm, the indicator can automatically reset when the preset reset time is reached. The reset time can be set according to the user’s requirement.
6. Remote reset:
Reset signal can be connected to the DTU or the SCADA to control the reset of the indicator remotely through terminals 11 and 12.
7. Remote alarm:
Alarm signal can be led to the remote distribution network automation terminal equipment through terminals 13, 14 and 15.
8. Communication transmission:
Terminals 7, 8, 9, 10 are reserved for RS485 communication.
